New edits!

Hey everyone!!! So I've been back in Texarkana since before Thanksgiving and I'm still here. I've been spending my time back working at the Texarkana Gazette before I leave for SCAD again on the 4th. Since coming back, I've been developing new editing approaches.

I know I haven't blogged in forever, I've just been unmotivated. Working is really taking a toll on me because I'm trying to upgrade my camera to a 5d Mark IV. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of February at the latest.

Anyways, I did a shoot with my friend, Grace, and I really loved the pictures. I haven't really done anything super creative other than this one shoot. (I don't have a lot of free time.) I just wanted to share one picture and how I went about editing it.

This image is SOOC. I picked this bowling alley for part of this shoot because I knew it would look super cool to do some shots here.

This is how the photo looked after Lightroom. I started messing with a different part of the developing module to get different colors I like.

This is the final edit after I fixed some things in Lightroom. I lightened her eyes and did some other stuff. The "other stuff" is part of my new style of editing so I'm still getting used to it. Overall, I like the way it turned out and although I haven't shot anything recently I'm excited about my new-ish style of editing.
