Late Valentines

For Valentines Day, I took some pictures for fun of my friend and her boyfriend. Here are some of my faves.

It was pretty cloudy so for all my pics I kept the ISO at 500. It's also pretty typical for me to keep the aperture wide open. Anyways, my inspiration for the top picture was Instagram. I always see portraits that set similar moods and I like that. I like the way her hair looks as she runs her fingers through it and how the wind picks it up. The second one was mostly their idea. I had to choose whether I was going to post this one or the other one. They were both similar but her face changed to a more heartwarming emotion so I picked this one even though there's no head room for the guy.

I think my pictures are steadily improving. I'm becoming much more happier with what I produce as the year goes on, although I'm still harsh on myself... but that's how people get better right?
