Book Cover

For this six weeks assignment, we had to pick a book cover to try to recreate. This was a difficult task because when I googled "book covers" most of them were mostly a lot of editing and photoshop-type designs.

Here is my inspiration, and here is my recreation of it. I had Madie help me with it and she let my drip the ice-cream down her hand. The EZ mart we went to didn't have the exact ice-cream bar but I was fine with that. In order to get the ice-cream melting, we used two lighters to melt it. I used a 50mm for this and she literally just stood in the hallway to get this.

I told Madie that afterwards she could eat the ice-cream, and she did but apparently it tasted absolutely disgusting. It was all burned. Next time, I will look to find a more interesting book cover, and maybe one that challenges me some more.
