Tyler Zoo

I went to the zoo the other weekend with some photog friends and we took pictures of the animals. I entered the picture of the birds into the national geographic contest.

For all of the pictures I took at the zoo, I used the 70-200 2.8. It was great. At the beginning of the year I didn't know if I really liked it but I really like that lens now. Of course, I kept it at 2.8 and tried to zoom in whenever I could so the background would be super blurry.

If I got the chance to go to the zoo again and shoot, I would probably try to come up with more interesting angles and such. I just mainly took normal, boring pictures of animals. I'll try to be more creative next time.
