Germany Overview
While I was in Germany, wifi was kind of hard to get because I accidently left it on all night and wasted the $20 spent on it yay :) anyways, I had tons of fun and saw quite some sights and tried to pile as much composition rules into my trip as far as picture taking.
I think this is a cute little artsy picture. I don't know why. I'm still indecisive about the idea of me moving the plant exactly under the light or not but I decided not to because it would be too straight.
I like this picture because when we were at the waterfall, a lot of people had engraved things onto the wooden hand-rail and this caught my attention because this is just way too cute!! Also, I like how I got the background blurry, but you can still kind of tell that it is a waterfall.
Do you see the white and black flag?? The day I went to this castle, some of the royal family was there. That's what the flag means.
I tried framing this little girl named Sarah with a cannon wheel she was playing on. She was part of the family that I stayed with during my stay in Germany. She was too cute! Also, she turned 4 that week.
These windows were part of this many sided building thing. I am not sure what is was but out of every window there was a different view.
Pictures of Sarah playing.
YAAYYY !! I love this picture so so so so much except for the fact of the tiny piece of tree poking into the picture. I should've cropped it but I just waited about ten minutes for these pictures to upload. You think I sound lazy but I just did this post on another computer but then right before I was done, it shut off and started updating. Do you feel my pain?
We went to a museum where they showed us how people built their houses on stilts and with straw grass in the stone age and the bronze age. Long time ago! Of course, these are replicas, but the museum started sometime in the 1900s.. I think?? SO some of the houses were old.
Okay, so as I said earlier, the houses had straw roofs so this was an obvious picture. My sister did something similar to this on her camera which made me think of this so I was just curious to try this! I'm not sure which picture is my favorite.. but I'm thinking the second one? It changes daily.
This is a picture of a statue we saw. I like how the sun is on the left because it is as if the statue is looking over there and I don't know. I like where he is in the picture.
This is Stephanie and Timm. They were Sarah's cousins and also part of the family I stayed with. They were so adorable. I think you can really see the brotherly/sisterly love in this. It's just so cute. I wish I could've gotten the horses head in the picture.
This is a sculpture we saw. If you see the red button on the bottom, it's the thin g that makes the sculpture move. Very cool!
I like this one because the focus is on the head. It's basically the only colorful thing in the picture because of the black colors underneath.
This roof was just too cool not to take a picture of.
We went to a cathedral and it had beautiful stained glass windows so I toyed with my camera enough to make everything pop in the windows. I'm kind of proud with these I think.
We were on our way to lunch when all of the sudden we got pulled over to see this! Apparently, the farmers were bringing their cows to another area for the winter and so they make a parade out of it. The cows were all dressed up with little flowers and bells and the people had traditional outfits on.
Overall, I had a great trip to Germany and I would like so go back sometime. :)
